How to Choose Commercial Beverage Refrigerated Display Cases?

Are you still troubled by the lack of space to store your beverages? As your beverage collection grows, you cannot simply mix beer, wine, and soft drinks together. While co-storing works for short-term needs, standard commercial refrigerated display cases, which operate at 2-8℃, are not ideal for the long-term low-temperature storage required for many wines and drinks.

Today, in scenarios such as convenience stores, small bars, and home storage, single-function freezers can no longer meet diverse display needs. To address this core issue, you need to make a choice based on your actual situation. For example, for regular soft drinks, a narrow-edge upright refrigerated display case is suitable; for horizontal or vehicle-mounted use, a mini desktop beer cooler is recommended.

Additionally, storage refrigerators feature high-end designs. Whether used for retail in shopping malls or at home, they always deliver a comfortable and pleasant experience. Imagine going to a friend’s house for a dinner party: would you feel a little underwhelmed if they took your drinks out of a regular fridge? But if they pulled them from a dedicated display case, you would definitely feel a strong sense of ritual.

With 17 years of experience in the R&D and production of commercial refrigerated display cases, Nenwell serves customers in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. NW-SC40B Countertop Mini Beer Refrigerator

The mini refrigerated display case series comes in various capacities, with customizable options ranging from 35L to 120L. It is fully equipped with standard features including lighting, temperature display, and easy mobility, and can be certified with CE, UL, and other national certifications as required.

40L Mini Countertop Beverage Cooler

Core Advantages

  1. Ultra-Compact Countertop-Specific Design: With a mini 40L size, it requires no floor space. It can be placed directly on checkout counters, sideboards, or living room countertops, making it ideal for small craft bars, checkout areas of tobacco and liquor stores, and home storage of craft beer, small bottled cocktails, and portable wine.
  2. Corrosion-Resistant Stainless Steel Body: It resists rust even when exposed to beverage spills from catering and late-night dining operations. Daily wiping and maintenance are simple, ensuring a longer service life in commercial environments.
  3. Automatic Door Closing + Optional Anti-Theft Lock: The door automatically rebounds when closed to prevent cold air leakage. Adding an optional door lock prevents beverage theft, and for home use, it stops children from accessing drinks at will.

NW-SC80B Desktop Built-In Beverage Cooler

Built-in desktop refrigerated display cases have a wide range of applications. We require specific cabinet dimensions to ensure effective built-in installation, and we can also customize the style, temperature settings, and logo to meet your needs.

Built-in compact beer refrigerator

Core Advantages

  1. Dual-Purpose Structure: Freestanding + Built-In Installation: It can either be placed independently on a countertop or pre-installed and built into custom bars or kitchen cabinets for integrated interior decor, making it the top choice for bars, private kitchen restaurants, and premium tobacco and liquor stores.
  2. Moderate Capacity with High Cost-Performance: With twice the capacity of the mini model, it has ample storage space. A single unit can handle the short-term refrigerated display of beer, beverages, and pre-mixed cocktails, eliminating the need for multiple freezers.
  3. Personalized Customization Available: We can customize body stickers, door frame ambient lights, and door panel LOGOs, making it easy for beverage distributors and brand stores to create branded image displays.

NW-SDC120 Narrow-Edge Upright Beverage Display Case

The NW-SDC120 beverage cooler is highly practical. Its biggest highlights are its comprehensive qualification certifications, versatile functions, and high cost-performance. Once purchased, it can be put directly into retail use without the need for additional certification procedures. It complies with energy consumption standards of various countries and features an exclusive appearance.

SDC120 slim cooler

Core Advantages

  1. Narrow-Edge Ultra-Thin Body: The cabinet width is far smaller than that of standard upright beverage coolers. It can be placed in narrow aisles of convenience stores, store corners, and small stores with narrow storefronts, solving the pain point of small stores being unable to fit upright freezers due to limited space.
  2. Auxiliary Air Cooling + Automatic Defrosting: It ensures uniform temperature inside the cabinet, with minimal temperature difference between the upper and lower layers, preventing beverages from freezing locally. It features timed automatic defrosting, eliminating the hassle of manual regular defrosting.
  3. LOW-E Anti-Fog Glass + Full Lighting Effects: The glass door resists condensation, allowing clear display of beverages all day. With top and dual-side door frame LED lights, it delivers excellent display and customer attraction effects for stores at night. The bottom casters make it easy to move the unit for cleaning or adjusting its placement.

Quick Model Selection Guide

  1. Home use / Small bar for small-volume beverage storage: Prioritize the NW-SC40B 40L mini model, for scattered storage of beverages, beer, ready-to-drink wine, and cocktails in living rooms or checkout counters;
  2. Custom renovated bars, built-in use for catering stores: Prioritize the NW-SC80B 80L built-in model, which balances commercial display with interior decor aesthetics;
  3. Community convenience stores, small supermarkets, tobacco and liquor stores for large-volume beverage sales: Prioritize the NW-SDC120 narrow-edge upright model, which offers large-capacity display for all beverage categories and serves as the core sales unit for stores.

Standard Usage Instructions for Beverage Refrigerated Display Cases

Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, stove heat sources, and heating equipment. For the upright NW-SDC120 model, reserve a minimum of 10cm of clearance at the back for heat dissipation. For the built-in SC80B model, leave heat dissipation gaps around the entire cabinet;

Do not place beverages directly against the inner back wall of the cabinet; leave ventilation gaps and do not block the air outlet to avoid reduced cooling efficiency;

After delivery, let the new unit sit stationary for 2 to 4 hours before plugging it in, then run it empty for 4 to 6 hours before loading beverages. Minimize frequent door opening and closing, and regularly inspect the door hinges to ensure the door is tightly sealed to prevent cold air leakage.

Maintenance Guidelines

First, after unplugging the unit, wipe the cabinet and glass with a soft neutral cloth. Do not use strong acid or alkali cleaners, as they can corrode the rubber seals and stainless steel;

Note that the NW-SDC120 features automatic defrosting; if abnormal frosting occurs, you can manually defrost it by unplugging the unit. For the direct-cooling SC40B/SC80 models, it is recommended to empty the items, unplug the unit, and manually defrost once a month;

Next, regularly check the sealing performance of the door gasket; replace it promptly if it ages and leaks air. Replace damaged LED lights with parts of the same specification;

Third, empty all beverages, dry the inner liner, and leave the door slightly ajar during long-term storage to prevent internal mold and odors.

Regular daily maintenance is essential. It can reduce equipment failure rates, extend service life, and deliver the best possible user experience.
